Happy New Year! I received an invite from a friend living in New York to come out and visit over the New Year weekend. I found a really cheap round trip flight and I decided to turn it into a mini adventure!
I’ve been to New York a couple of times before, but I’d never done much exploring downtown. I figured I’d go and see if I could sneak into Times Square before they locked it down for the midnight party, check out Central Park, spend a minute at Grand Central Station, and see what else I could discover during my very short stay in the Big Apple.
This is the first published video that I’ve shot in a more traditional VLOG style a la Casey Neistat. Just trying to develop my skills and see about improving my workflow for quick turnaround. Considering this is being posted a day after New Years proper, I’d say I’ve made a few pretty good steps forward!
My resolutions for 2018 include more regular posts for the channel, improving the production quality of my videos, and starting to come up with an interesting theme or story to base my videos around. Let’s see how it goes!

Our Semester is over. Finals were written. Goodbye’s were said.
Whatsoever, a small group still found together to enjoy the last days together in big town NYC.
Our overnight bus drive from Montreal to New York stole us some precious sleep which ended up in hilarious laughing streaks. However, with enough coffee and some good german food we managed to get through the concrete jungle.
There is a second part coming of NYC soo stay tuned aaaaand

We decided to do an extremely last minute road trip to New York City for New Years Eve and that was the best decision so far this year. We had such an amazing time and saw quite a few places for only being in the city for 42 hours.
– Cupcake Market
– Variety Coffeehouse
– Times Square
– The Bagel Store
– Central Park
– & a few restaurants
