Tips for New Year’s Eve in Times Square | New York City

Here are some tips from a few local New Yorkers that know how to ring in the New Year in New York’s Times Square. Ask us questions in the comments below.

We rang in the New Year with a million friends in Times Square. And then I met up with family in Central Park for the Midnight Run.

Watch Alex’s 360° Experience here (for the most fun, watch it on the YouTube app in your phone!):

Thanks to Alex, Kylie, Josh, Carly, and Isa for being awesome friends.

Thanks to Josh for the awesome thumbnail pic!

Filmed on New Year’s Eve 2016 on a Canon G7X Mark II.

Our Gear:

Canon G7X Mark II: (it’s amazing and basically sees in the dark)
Canon G7X: (the original is almost as good, but less expensive)
Joby Gorillapod: (fantastic versatile bendy tripod – this is the slightly smaller “action” version that’s easier to travel with and comes with a mount for a camera and a gopro)
Macbook Air: (we edit everything on Final Cut Pro on a Macbook Air, which is light and easy to travel with)
External Hard Drive: (the videos are a little too big for the macbook air to handle, so I edit everything off an external hard drive)

A Mercedes AMG does a burnout in times square New York City then runs down a cop before sideswiping a bunch of cars trying to get away. A very interesting day in Times Square NYC.

Thursday January 4th 2018 Don’t BLINK!!! Survival of the NYC SPARROWS over ah vent.
We begin with that massive and deadly winter storm here in New York City, what’s called a bomb cyclone and it’s living up to its name tonight. Slam spoof too east. Look at the scope of this storm. Along the east coast, several state of emergencies as we come on the air. Coastal flooding along the shore, damaging waves.
Parts of the Southeast will be faced with a new weather threat as the massive “bomb cyclone” moves away from the East Coast and frigid temperatures arrive in its place. Officials are warning residents in the South of the possibility that black ice will form overnight as wind chills in the teens.
